Andrew has worked in the property industry since 1994. Qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1999, he was made a partner of a major surveying firm aged just 29 where until he continued to practice and specialise in commercial property investment in the West End of London. He is now a Director of a property and asset management company. Andrew has a Bsc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying from the University of Reading.
Andrew was the Chairman of the management company from 1999 and stood down in 2009 when his company was appointed to manage the property. He is also a trustee of registered charity set-up after the Boxing Day tsunami that to date has rehoused over 100 families, built a school for 50 pupils and a medical centre.
Andrew led the leasehold enfranchisment scheme at Millbank Court.
