John is an ex regular officer of the Royal Marines where he served in commando units. He has lived and worked abroad and has run his own international marketing business retained by clients such as the Ministry of Defence on the Brabant Island Antarctica expedition, Forbes magazine, the Metropolitan Police and the Republican Party.
He was 21 years with J Walter Thompson and earlier worked for the Daily Express. He is a long serving Trustee of London Youth, formerly Boys Clubs, and is an author of several books including BATTLE FOR CRETE (Heinemann). He is currently writing his next novel, BLOOD ROYAL.
