During the day it’s fairly easy to find a Black Cab available for hire on John Islip St itself – there are often cabs waiting for fares at the City Inn next door or you can usually hail passing cabs in the street without having to wait too long.
Black cabs are even more frequent on Horseferry Road, Millbank and Vauxhall Bridge road and there is a taxi rank at the Tate Gallery.
